Property of basic green (malachite green): Green crystal powder with a metallic lustre, very soluble in water, extremely soluble in ethanol, solutions are blue-green; basic green dyes become yellow in high concentration sulphuric acid, becomes dark orange when diluted; basic green becomes orange in high concentration nitric acid, becomes brownish orange when diluted. Sodium hydroxide is added to the water solution to produce white precipitation with green light. The color and light of the dye were unchanged at high temperature (120 ℃). The fastness of dyeing on acrylic fiber is 4-5.Through adoption of Korea advanced production technology and advanced machine,the new type Basic Green Series is free of Heavy Metal Content like lead or zinc. Application of Basic Green (malachite green): Used for dyeing of silk, wool, cotton, paper, incense, bamboo, weed, straw, leather, linen and some chemical fibers. It is also a standard dye used to determine the saturation value of acrylic fiber and the saturation factor of cationic dyes.
