Property of Basic Rhodamine B:Bright green shining fine powder.Soluble in water and alcohol (blue red solution with strong fluorescence), easily soluble in fiber, slightly soluble in acetone. In the presence of concentrated sulfuric acid, it is yellowish brown with strong green fluorescence.It is bright red and orange after dilution. It is golden yellow in the presence of concentrated nitric acid.The aqueous solution was heated with sodium hydroxide solution to form rose red villous precipitation. The addition of hydrochloric acid has a fine green crystal separation.

Application : mainly used for dyeing of paper and cosmetics,also can be used in dyeing silk, wool, bamboo, weed, straw, leather, linen and preparation of lakes.It is used for dyeing acrylic fiber with stable shade when pH is 2.5 ~ 5.5.
